The 24th meeting of the SMIIC Board of Directors was held on Monday, November 21, 2022 with the participation of 13 SMIIC Member States, including the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul, Turkey.
In this meeting, the progress of the implementation of SMIIC Strategic Plan during the years 2021-2022 was reviewed and a decision was made on how to implement it in the period of 2023-2024. Also, the activities of the sub-committees of the BOD, including the financial committee, the strategic committee, and the performance of the standardization management council were examined, and the suggestions of the member for improvement of the current activities were presented.
The meeting approved the request for the membership of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
