During the official visit, senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Armenia signed a joint statement and 10 cooperation documents aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and expanding collaboration in various economic, cultural, and political fields.
Among the significant agreements was a Memorandum of Understanding between the Iran National Standards Organization and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. This document covers cooperation in the fields of standardization, conformity assessment, metrology, and technical regulations.
The signing of this MoU is intended to reduce potential technical barriers to trade between the two countries and to facilitate the development and deepening of new and mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas of standardization, conformity assessment, metrology, and technical regulations.
