As we mark the 2nd World Halal Standards Day with the theme “Innovating Halal: Embracing Food Tech and Sustainability with OIC/SMIIC Standards”, we commemorate the efforts of several technical and religious experts worldwide who shape the transformative power of harmonized halal standards and support upholding integration of food technology, sustainable development, and digital innovation.
This is my pleasure to inform you, the Iran National Standards Organization (INSO) has played a pivotal role in developing halal standards and actively participating in SMIIC technical initiatives, driving the global adoption of OIC/SMIIC standards.
